Phoenix IT Group companies; ICM Managed Availability Services and Servo Computer Services have integrated to form Servo.

The new company combines the capabilities of two first class computer services organisations in order to deliver outstanding IT Infrastructure services for Mid-Market to Enterprise companies.

The ICM brand will not disappear from the IT marketplace as from 1st April 2008, NDR and ICM Business Continuity Services will be merged to form a new force in the UK business continuity market. This business will trade under the ICM brand name and be headquartered in Aston, Birmingham.

The new Servo now provides an extensive framework of reliable and cost-effective services that span the full IT management lifecycle and which are enhanced by the increased scale and reach of the whole Phoenix IT Group.

According to Managing Director Neil Lloyd; “At Servo we take a consultative approach to provide advice on how IT Infrastructure Excellence can make your business more competitive. This advice is backed up by the people, processes and technology to design and deliver the complete solution.”

IT Infrastructure Excellence is about having a completely reliable IT infrastructure that is planned to meet your present and future needs: from hardware, networks and software through to people, processes and support.  IT Infrastructure Excellence allows you to create IT solutions to business problems easily, quickly and at low additional cost.

The new company has extensive capabilities based upon significant investments in both hosting capability and infrastructure services. The Phoenix IT Group is committed to developing the Birstall site as the headquarters for the new Servo business and as an important centre for customer service delivery. Already significant investment has been committed to develop additional data centre and hosting facilities at the site which are planned to be operational in July.
