Servo, has today announced that the company has been awarded the Information Worker competency under the prestigious Microsoft Partner Program.
The competency acknowledges that Servo has proven skills and experience in building solutions on the Microsoft Office System, specialising in providing desktop deployment solutions to customers that wish to upgrade to the latest versions of programs. The achievement also recognises Servo’s commitment to providing customers with the most current and effective solutions to enable them to better manage, prioritise and collaborate on increasing volumes of information. The addition of the new competency to their existing awards for advanced infrastructure and networking infrastructure also further reinforces Servo’s position as an experienced Microsoft solutions provider.
As a partner, Servo gains access to special learning opportunities such as early access to software betas, guidance on deploying information worker solutions, access to relevant online partner resources, and invitations to webcasts. Servo is one of a select group of partners to hold Microsoft Gold Partner awards, and has achieved this latest competency by demonstrating the highest levels of knowledge and expertise in this specific technology area. Accreditation has been carried out through a thorough assessment of Servo’s personnel and customer references, demonstrating Servo’s ability to provide the highest levels of technical know-how and to deliver solutions that exactly meet customers’ requirements.
Paul Russell, Servo’s Head of Consultancy comments: “The business desktop is a core area of specialism for Servo and this achievement cements our extensive experience of deploying Microsoft operating systems and Office platforms across a wide range of vertical sectors and business size. We ensure our customers reach their goal of reducing the cost of deploying and managing their desktop estate.
Importantly, this provides the foundation for our customers to work with Servo as they develop collaboration, content and search management strategies with Vista, Office 2007, Exchange Server 2007 and Sharepoint Portal Server 2007 over the next 2/3 years.
